Behavioural strategies
1, 2, 3 Magic and Stop
This programme teaches parents a simple counting approach—1, 2, 3—to help them respond consistently to challenging behaviour.
Parents meet with Sara for a one-hour session. She explains the technique, practises it with you and provides practical guidance and reward charts to use at home.
After the session, Sara emails the instructions you have discussed. This helps you explain the approach to your child, so they know what to expect when challenging behaviour occurs.
The counting approach can be used at home and when visiting friends or grandparents. It can also be used at school, with the teacher’s agreement.
It is discreet enough to use outside the home and is suitable for children aged three and over.

Trust comes first
Our tutors also work with three priorities: trust, rapport and bespoke lessons. Many children have faced challenges on their learning journey, so we take time to build a strong tutor–pupil relationship and shape support around each learner.
Trust
Helping children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again.
Rapport
Building a positive connection so each child feels listened to and understood.
Bespoke lessons
Shaping teaching around the child’s interests, strengths and individual learning needs.
A parent’s experience
“Our family life is a lot calmer—and happier.”
We’ve been using 1, 2, 3 Magic for the past few weeks and have really seen a difference in our little boy’s behaviour.
I’m so glad I made the call to Sara. She is fantastic: she listens, gives amazing advice and really helps you every step of the way. There have been a couple of wobbles, but Sara was on hand to get us back on track and help us remain consistent.
You may feel like you’ve tried everything, and you’ve probably tried something along these lines. But what makes the difference is having Sara explain exactly what to do, how to approach it and how to stick with it. Sometimes you just need someone to guide you when you feel like nothing is working.
Our family life is a lot calmer now, and therefore a lot happier. Of course there are still moments, as with every child, but we know how to handle them in a calmer way.
Thank you very much, Sara!
